The Challenge
Sports campaigns move fast: deliverables multiply, messaging shifts with the tournament calendar, each spot has to feel premium on broadcast while still reading instantly on social. The goal was to ship multiple assets on tight timelines without style drift, keeping one unified campaign language from evergreen promos through the knockout stages.
My Role
I took the campaign through the full motion pipeline, translating styleframes into motion behavior, building and iterating motion tests, and delivering final broadcast/social spots. I partnered closely with editorial to hit quick turnarounds while keeping pacing, hierarchy, and transitions consistent across the package.
Approach
Turned the look into repeatable motion rules
Defined consistent type behavior, transition language, and pacing so every deliverable felt like part of the same campaign.Used motion tests to lock rhythm early
Quick tests established hierarchy and clarity early-speeding approvals and avoiding late-stage reworkBuilt modular comps for rapid versioning
Structured projects for fast swaps and refreshes while keeping the “engine” consistent across spots.
Deliverables
Evergreen / Always-on: hero evergreen + refreshes
Group Stage: Champions League + Europa League creative
January long-lead / lead-up messaging
Round of 16 lead-up
Knockout rounds / Knockout stage
Paramount+ Champions League variants
Broadcast-first 16x9 masters with social cutdowns/adaptations.
